Yes – we are still open for business. We will continue to provide essential products to the community during this uncertain time. However, to ensure that Thompson Parkway is a safe place for our customers and retailers, we have introduced a number of important measures.

Face masks mandatory

Government regulations for Melbourne require all residents to wear a face mask when leaving home. All staff and customers at Thompson Parkway Shopping Centre must wear a face mask while at the centre.

Social distancing

You can help to protect our community by following social distancing guidelines.

Although we usually love to see families shopping together at Thompson Parkway, under Stage 4 restrictions, just one household member can visit the centre at a time.

When you come in to do your shopping, please be considerate and stay at least two arm-lengths away from other shoppers and centre employees. The internal mall and outdoor walkways can become quite busy – take care to avoid close contact with others in these areas.

Customer limits

There are set customer limits for each store to ensure that there is a maximum of one person per four square metres as per government regulations. Look out for signage at shop entrances that indicates the number of customers permitted in the store at any one time.

Temporary store closures

The following stores are currently closed due to government regulations or health and safety concerns for staff and customers. Please note that some stores may change their trading hours at short notice and it is advised to check with stores individually.

  • Rivers
  • Splendid Nails
  • Perla Hair & Beauty/Perla Cafe
  • Lee Lee Bakehouse
  • Cignall

We will continue to keep you updated as the COVID-19 situation changes. Thank you for supporting your local businesses during this difficult time. Stay safe, and remember – we’re all in this together.
